HUMEInstitute for Political
Influence Research

Launching in 2027

Hume Fellowships.

Beginning in 2027, the Hume Institute will support a cohort of fellows engaged in original, public-interest research with our data and infrastructure.

Who it's for

  • Data scientists — who want to apply serious methods to political influence questions.

  • Journalists — staff, freelance, student, or local, who pursue the truth no matter the direction it runs.

  • Academic researchers in any field — whose work touches political finance, from economics to sociology to computer science.

What fellows receive

  • Expanded access to Hume's research platform and datasets.
  • Technical and mentorship support from Hume's team and network.
  • A venue and support for publishing findings openly.
  • A cohort of peers across disciplines.

What fellows do
