Accessibility statement.

Hume is committed to making its website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

Conformance status.

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA: most of the standard is met, and the exceptions are listed below. We assess conformance by self-evaluation, using a combination of automated testing and manual keyboard and screen-reader review.

Measures we take.

Semantic page structure, full keyboard operability, sufficient color contrast, visible focus indicators, labeled forms, alternative text for meaningful images, and respect for reduced-motion preferences. Accessibility is considered at design time, not retrofitted, and it is part of the review before anything ships.

Known limitations.

Third-party content we embed — including any future newsletter archive or data platform frames — may not meet the same standard, and we will note specific exceptions here as we find them. This list is maintained honestly: when we learn of a barrier, it appears here until it is fixed.

Compatibility.

The site is built to work with current versions of major browsers and with the screen readers commonly paired with them. It does not require JavaScript to read the text on any page.

Feedback.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site, contact Hume. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we will respond within two business days and tell you what we intend to do about it.
